5.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable and well made boots!, February 18, 2012
These boots are very cute, waterproof, and are comfortable for long walks. They have a sheepskin lining, but they breathe well, so the lining does not make the boots too warm to wear indoors. I take an 8.5 (occasionally a 9) in American sizes, and the 40 fit well. Room for orthotics, too. The boots seem to be very sturdy and well made, as well as flattering.

I love the cut out style of the shoe, although I was dissapointed in the tone of brown not very muted more bright (bought from endless so different colour picture) however they are very confortable for high heels and I will be buying a pair in Black.

I found they actually size one size smaller than normal pleaser shoes, i got size 6 instead of size 5 (to allow for my feet swelling throughout the day) and although the other pair of size 6 i bought in pleaser normal brand fitted perfect, the day and nights seemed more like a 5 than a 6.

I also bought pleaser halters (memory foam insert) and the grips for the bottoms highly reccomend as the inserts are the most comfortable I have ever used and the grips stick well if applied properly and give you more friction to the ground (no more slipping on wet floors!)

These are the most comfortable lambskin boots ever! I like that they are leather..buttery soft leather,the lining is short haired and feels like velvet on your feet.A great buy!!!

These boots are absolutely gorgeous! However, the reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that they are pretty narrow, making it hard to put on and take off. And keep in mind that in addition to being narrow, they also have no zipper so it can be a bit of a struggle pulling them on and off. I usually wear a 7 or 7.5, but since I was unsure of how Joan & David shoes run in terms of size, I ordered a 7.5. It seems to fit true to size length-wise. I haven't worn it out yet, but when trying them on around the house they seem pretty comfortable for the most part. We'll see how comfortable they are after wearing it for a few hours though. But simply based on style and appearance, these boots are beautiful!

This shoe hurts. I'm guessing the angle on the shoe does not work with my foot because man this baby hurts after just a few minuets. Otherwise it's such a nice shoe. I'm very slim and so boots are normally extremely wide on the ankle but the sweater like material at the top works well with my tiny ankles. I've wore it twice now with black Jeggens and it always complements my outfit so well but I can only wear it when I'm going to sit down right away.

These boots are very nice quality, stylish, comfortable, but the size 8 I received was at least one half size too small. So I suggest you order a larger size than your regular shoe size.
